On the 1^st October 2011, the new Agency Workers Regulations (AWR) will come into practice within the UK giving agency workers the right to equal treatment in relation to permanent staff directly recruited by the hirer.

The Training is over and aaa's staff are at the business end of our "Fighting Fit at 40" Charity Treadmill Challenge.

Week 2 of our 40 Day Fitness Campaign - things are starting to get serious!

On the 13th July AAA celebrated their 40th Birthday.

As part of aaa's "Fighting Fit at 40!" Fundraising Campaign, the Staff and Directors will be committing to a 40-hour Treadmill Challenge.

The Directors of AAA are delighted to announce that Amanda Porter has rejoined the business as a Director. Amanda worked previously in the Agency as a Consultant for 3 years and as our Temporary Division Manager for 5 years. She has subsequently been a Sales Manager in the Newspaper Industry and after a career break has come back to the company.

AAA's team Rock & Row - took part in the Intercompany Rowing Competition on Saturday 25 June.

Accountancy Recruitment Consultant

Due to a huge increase in the volume of positions we are working on, aaa have a requirement for a recruiter to join the Accountancy division.

Senior Consultant returns to aaa

aaa is delighted to welcome back Paul Black. Paul has re-joined aaa as a Senior Consultant in the Finance Division.

Hot on the heels of the recent promotion of Catherine Brown to Associate Director. aaa is delighted to announce further promotions of Craig Mackenzie and Jenny Osborne to the positions of Senior Consultants.

The Cherries Awards 2011

This fabulous event is a must for all HR and Business Professionals with original award categories. Aberdeen Appointments Agency are once again proud to be supporting this event by sponsoring the category of Tremendous Training & Development.

The staff at aaa took part in Inspire's Hamper Challenge in December and raised a total of £172. 

A team of 10 staff from aaa named "Santaaa's Little Helpers" including Lucy, the mascot, helped raise a total of £591 on behalf of Wildhearts.

The staff at aaa are delighted to have donated £5512.32 to Barnardos in the payroll giving scheme.

Our very own Divisional Service Analyst, Joyce Morrice will be fundraising and taking part in the Maggie's Glasgow Night Hike.

On Friday 17th September the "Deen Divas" will be taking part in a unique 10-mile tour of Glasgow, where they will see and experience unparalleled access to some of the best buildings the city has to offer. They will be walking 10 miles by night and enjoying iconic architecture while raising vital funds for people affected by cancer.

It has been an eventful few months for aaa's Associate Director Catherine Brown. Following a well-deserved promotion Catherine has recently graduated from RGU with an MSc in Human Resource Management.
