A fantastic opportunity for a Projects Director to join a leading subsea and Marine contractor who specialise in providing a range of services to the global energy industry. Reporting directly to the Managing Director the Projects Director will be responsible for providing advanced project management services and overseeing the day to day project management of the clients operations. A challenging role that can offer excellent career prospects for the successful applicant.


Responsibilities:

·Leading the project management team to ensure the safe execution of offshore projects and contracts and acting as the commercial and technical authority to Project Managers.
·Develop and implement strategic objectives.
·Analysis of profitability across projects.
·Full responsibility for budget reviews, equipment and vessel maintenance as well as the recruitment of project crews.
·Take a leading role in developing the company and implementing business plans and strategic objectives.

Experience:

·Applicants should have proven experience in leading, inspiring and motivating teams to high standards and have extensive commercial acumen with the ability to offer both operational and strategic suggestions to aid the company's development.
·An appropriate degree (technical / business) and / or equivalent proven experience is required.
·A Project Management qualification is desirable but not essential.
·Exposure working in an offshore experience in a diving and/or ROV capacity.
·Extensive experience in the execution of projects in the offshore oil and gas/marine industry.
·Experience in environmental impact assessment.
·Knowledge of all legislation, codes of practices pertaining to the offshore marine and diving industry.
