Competency Supervisor

Our Oil and Gas Services client has an exciting opportunity for a Competency Supervisor to join their Dyce based team. The main purpose of the position is to assist in the implementation of a structured competency system. To interface with Managers and Supervisors across the UK and provide support with regards to Training and Competency initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with implementation, delivery and administration of Training amp; Competence initiatives in line with company requirements.
Create and Maintain up-to-date Training and Competency portfolios, training records and electronic spreadsheets in an efficient and confidential manner, allowing effective information retrieval to enable the provision of data for statistical and audit purposes.
Liaise, support Product Line Managers/Supervisors and mentors in all competence and development matters.
Work with and support the tendering team with Competency related information to enable the submission of professional and effective documentation. Carry out internal system and process audits.
To schedule and conduct Assessor and Competency Training workshops.
To internally verify completed competence portfolios at both Level I and II.
Support employees undertaking assessor and verifier qualifications.
Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil these.
