They are looking to recruit a Senior Project Contractor Manager to be based in Milan, Italy and suitable candidates are to be proficient in English and Italian. This role is primarily responsible for overseeing the contractors hired by the company to build and operate large scale power plants. Responsibility includes overseeing the EPC Contractor and ensuring that the Contractor meets its obligation under the contract, including time, cost and quality of the construction of the projects. This individual will manage external resources, hired to represent the company, such as Work Director, Health and Safety Managers, etc, and will be responsible to ensure the projects under his responsibility are built, under budget, on time and at the quality specified in the contracts. This position will initially report to the CEO of the company and will also involve liasing with the management team in the negotiations of Engineering, Procurement and Construction contracts with potential suppliers and the review of such contracts with technical advisors.
