You must have held a senior position with a specialist metering company, oil company or government agency. Technical Requirements: 1. A thorough knowledge of liquid and gas flow meter selection and metering system design.2. Experience in design calculations, flowrate computation and flowrate uncertainty estimation.3. Capable of preparing meter system conceptual design specifications for new and upgrade systems, detail specifications, software overviews, acceptance test procedures, recertification test procedures and maintenance procedures.4. Ability to prepare flowrate sampling and allocation procedures.5. Familiar with all relevant IP, API, AGA, BS and ISO standards and codes of practice together with regulatory requirements and guidelines.6. Experience in using computer programmes for design purposes.Qualifications: BSc/HNC in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Applied Physics. Membership of Chartered Engineering Institute (preferred).
