GREEN ENERGY JOBS
Aberdeen Appointments Agency are delighted to announce our exclusive contract award for the recruitment project for the Scottish European Green Energy Centre (SEGEC). This project is crucial to the progressive development of alternative energy in Scotland and is a unique partnership between Scottish Government, universities, companies and the enterprise agencies, and funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
The recruitment project will provide key jobs for the local area and Inverness: -
Thematic Managers, Aberdeen (2) - Renewables, Offshore and Smart Grids, Heat & Energy Efficiency
Thematic Manager - Inverness (1) - Marine Energy
Thematic Managers will be responsible for working with the relevant sector across Scotland and organisations in Highland and Islands to identify opportunities, engaging with European associations, Technology Platforms, networks and partners, developing projects and funding applications. Good working knowledge of energy policy and opportunities for increasing the deployment of sustainable energy technology, and experience from industry, research, government or a related agency, strong project management and communication skills and a pro-active approach.
Finance/Funding Manager
Managing SEGEC's external funding, including ERDF and financial input to the development of projects. Experience of establishing financial and monitoring systems and exposure to EU funding ideal.
Marketing & Communications Manager
Management of SEGEC's communication strategy, media relations, website and event organisation.
Office Manager/PA to Chief Executive
Responsible for all admin functions including HR, facilities and financial support. Excellent communicator required with exemplary organisation skills essential. Knowledge of accounting, payroll and/or HR processes desirable.
